“What are we going to do about AI?”

If you’re asking this question, you’re not alone. Even though my tech career spans three decades, I still found myself asking that question about our own business from late 2024 into early 2025. The rising noise in the news and on LinkedIn was providing plenty of unease but precious little clarity. Books and articles were either too technical, too fluffy, or too sensational to help plot a nuts-and-bolts business path.

So I went looking for answers – not to write a book, but instead to figure out our way forward. But the answers I found felt like they needed to be shared — as relevant to any business as they are for ours, and understandable by a much larger audience than we’ve been led to believe.

This book brings AI within reach – making it “fair game” for you and your business. But it also makes the game fair. The C-suites at the tech giants already understand all this. The rest of us were left to wait and guess. I want you and your business to have the same clarity that I found for ours.
